Key Responsibilities

1. System Architecture and Design:
   • Define and design architecture for PHP applications, prioritizing performance and scalability.
   • Oversee implementation of secure, high-performing backend services.
2. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
   • Work with Product and Design teams to align application structure with user requirements.
   • Collaborate with DevOps to manage infrastructure and deployment.
3. Code Quality and Standards:
   • Implement best practices for coding and enforce coding standards across the team.
   • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
4. Performance Optimization:
   • Continuously monitor application performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
   • Apply caching strategies, query optimization, and efficient data handling techniques.
5. Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing:
   • Provide guidance and mentorship to developers on PHP best practices.
   • Share knowledge on new PHP trends, tools, and techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years in PHP development with architecture experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Frameworks: Deep knowledge of Laravel, Symfony, or similar PHP frameworks.
  • Database Management: Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL, with experience in database optimization.
  • Server-Side Management: Familiarity with Nginx, Apache, and Docker.
  • Security Knowledge: Understanding of PHP security standards and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
